Why being a Producer may be a good choice for you.
A Producer at Cura Insurance is a full-time position offering meaningful flexibility, with a combination of on-site and remote work. Team members are trusted to manage their schedules responsibly to balance professional commitments with personal priorities. Travel does not require stepping away from work, and occasional evening or weekend availability may be necessary to address urgent needs. As with most sales roles, workload fluctuates seasonally, with periods of high demand balanced by times of greater flexibility.
As a Producer, performance is directly tied to individual effort. This role is entrepreneurial in nature—you are effectively building your own book of business. Those who choose to invest significant time and energy may see accelerated growth, while others may adjust their workload based on life’s circumstances. Success timelines will vary, and the role is designed to adapt accordingly. As production and leadership capacity grow, opportunities may include partnership, creating a sub-agency, opening your own branch, or continuing as a Producer without additional managerial responsibilities. There are many opportunities for those that choose to commit themselves to this profession.
Community involvement is a core value of our organization. Relationship building is essential to success in this role, and team members are encouraged to engage in philanthropic efforts, civic organizations, and personal interests that foster meaningful connections. Business development often occurs through informal interactions such as coffees, lunches, or community events. As a result, professional and personal networks frequently overlap, creating a relationship-driven approach to growth.
This role is well suited for individuals who are high-achieving, entrepreneurial, community-oriented, and seeking flexibility. We welcome the opportunity to begin a conversation with candidates who align with these values.
